Choosing the Perfect Dance Name
A dance name should feel natural to you, as if it is an extension of your personality. That is why I have chosen my own name Khaalida. My dance tells a special story, a dance of strength a dance of life. My dance is the dance of the goddess, introspection and worship. Your name should extend your personality. Since the dance tells your life, so you should pick your dance name. Think of your name as the author of your story you tell when you dance. Picking a name should come natural once you find it. Khaalida also means immortal, goddess. (alternative spelling Khaalida) f Muslim Feminine form of KHALID. KHALID m Muslim "eternal" from Arabic khalida "to last forever". Every middle eastern dancer when she dancers takes on her dance name, that she herself choses, which is an extension of her very own personality.
